Celebrating 5 Years!
Time & Location
About The Event
Happy August Cannabis Professionals!
This month marks 5 whole years that the Boulder Cannabis Industry Meetup has been providing free educational events to bring together our community! To celebrate this landmark, I will be presenting on what five years in the cannabis industry has looked like in regards to trends in science, how the market and laws have evolved, what people were talking about then compared to now, and how our industry can still improve in the years to come. So come out, celebrate
**Please note that this month's meetup will be on a Thursday due to scheduling conflicts!**
Michelle Wright graduated from the University of Colorado with her degree in Environmental Biology with a focus on botany and genetics. With this background combined with her entrepreneurial spirit, she entered the Colorado Cannabis industry in 2014 just after Colorado’s recreational legalization. She quickly recognized that education and professional development were severely needed in the industry, and founded the Boulder Cannabis Industry Meetup. Her involvement in the Colorado Cannabis industry has taken her through various experiences and roles ranging from genetic analysis, third-party compliance auditing, wholesale sales, agricultural technologies, product development, and research. Her passion for good science, cannabis and hemp companies has led her to her current position as Creative Research Specialist for Heidbro Branding Agency. Additionally, Michelle is conducting private research on hemp and how cannabinoids and terpenes develop, and spends her free time gardening and chilling with her chickens.
